But what about the 'I have nothing to wear' argument? Come on, it must have happened to you once, all these nice lipglosses to choose from, but none of them matches your outfit perfectly. Although, that pink blush, or that red lipstick does. How about transforming those into a nice DIY lipgloss?
What do you need?
- vaseline
- lipstick, blush or any other nicely coloured make-up product
- an oil burner
- an empty palette or small box
- a tablespoon
- a knife
What do you need to do?
Add a small amount of vaseline to your oil burner. Make sure it is enough to fill a pan in your palette or your small box. The vaseline melts very fast, so stay nearby for the following step.
Now add a bit of your coloured make-up product to the melted vaseline and mix them together. If you want your lipgloss to be darker, just add a little bit more of your make-up product.
When you're sure that you've got the right colour, pour the mixture into the palette or the small box and let it settle for a couple of minutes.
All done!
If you have some time (and make-up) to spare, you can make yourself an entire palette. Now you can match your lipgloss with every outfit in your wardrobe, yay. :)
Tips!
Also hating that gross vaseline taste? Just add a little bit of vanilla (or any other) flavour to your mixture. Be careful though, people might wonder why you lick your lips all the time!
You can mix and match with different make-up products. Wondering how that eyeshadow and blush look together? Give it a try!
Happy DIY'ing!
